@Popcornbeetle the area we parked at was probably fine. It was roughly a 3 to 5mins walk to the car and the location. I mean, I don't know the history of vandalism to vehicles. If your implying the terrain, it should be good. I seen Honda civics driving up and down it.

What's going on, Gaddmans.Garden. so the makanna 100 is a decent kayak for its price. There are some pros and cons Pro Stability is decent to stand A decent amount of space for your person and other things in the back Lightweight Cons Some plastic pieces are cheap on it. The rudder isn't that great at responding quickly. The turning knob for the rudder slips a bit and comes loose. The plastic piece that holds the driving pod. Strips pretty easy.. The XD drive I didn't use and placed the hobie 180 mirage on it, so I can't give u feedback on that. It's sealed and in the closet lol It's my first kayak.. so I don't have much to relate it to. If you have the options to buy the kayak alone. I would recommend that

@toenailtoenail Leo T Cronin Fish Veiwing Area. That's the only place I've ever parked at. Since I've only been there once... that being said, I can't give you the best time. Season, obviously spring and summer for bass. Fish, in general, tend to be more active in the mornings and late evenings..

Well, I know there are two lakes that are named Lake chabot. This one is vallejo, and I think the other is down south.

Well, it's in vallejo. It's kinda close to Oakland, but yes, it is, lol

@vangfamily Good luck out there, brotha. Crabbing should be open until July 30, 2024.. but things might have changed. I highly recommend looking up the salt water regulations before attempting to catch them. I haven't heard of anything getting shut down early, but you never know.

Well, I wanna get something for the kayak eventually. lol, i was looking into one of the lowrance or garmins. idk when I will, but one of these days, lol bro, it's been super tough to get out. Usually, when I do, it's been super unexpected. Like me and my boy, when to Stafford, after some training we did for a couple hours, but blue lake is definitely on the bucket list!

@63tpa It all depends on what you're going for. It currently bass season.. all the large mouth are coming in close to spawn, so they should be easy to catch. Catfishing and carp should be good also.. which also means everything is gonna get pressured and harder to catch something. All it takes is that right bait and that right time
